Work Fields

In order to achieve the optimal results of our scholarship program, we created different work areas in which professional volunteers contribute their knowledge. The areas are: 

Administration Area
Responsible for the administration of funds for the program.
Balancing the monthly and annual budget.
Updating the certificates and forms of the students.
Creating monthly reports about the destination of the funds used.

Education Area
Grant the educational scholarship.
Give help with school work if the student requires it.
Maintain a relationship with the tutors.
Provide all of the bibliographic information that the student needs.  
Search for funds to carry out cultural and education events.

José and Javier are computer teachers

Yamila helps with English classes. She is from Córdoba, studied economics, and works in a call center.

Health Area
Create a calendar that keeps track of medical treatments given to each student.
Create a network of doctors that donate their services to the scholarship students.
Supply the program with the necessary medicine.

Elida Michelutti is in charge of the health area of Oportunidad Educativa. She is also a teacher at Ipem 18 school and a biochemist.

Vanina is a dentist in charge of checking the dental hygene of the students and also gives lessons about dental health.

Family Area
Listen to the everyday family problems.
Gives psychiatric help to family issues.
Tracks the progress of the family.
Guarantees that each family receives a basket of food.
Gives the family recipes to ensure good nutrition.

 
Sponsorship Area
Keeps daily contact with people who wish to support the Project.
Receives the donations for the scholarship students.
Encourages the relationship between the student and their sponsor.

At Give an Opportunity the active participation of our volunteers is highly valued for not receiving any payment for their work.
